a) why did Mapbox feel the need to move from open to closed source (for Mapbox GL JS)?
b) Open Data providers need to 'dogfood', consume their own data, to produce good quality data and fully realise the value. But after they realise the value they start wanting to build the apps/etc. that others would have done...or is it okay for them to pick the low-hanging fruit?
